Teen jailed on drug, weapon charges

SPIVEY’S CORNER — Security officials at Friday night’s Midway High football game spotted a 16-year-old armed with a Hi-Point .9-mm weapon and a pocketful of drugs and took him into custody.

According to sheriff’s reporters, Tyrone Antione Joyner, 16, of 1229 Charles Newland Road, Dunn, was arrested .

Joyner, who is listed as a student at an out-of-county high school, was carrying eight Vicodin; six Xanax and 10 Darvocet pills. He was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule III controlled substance; possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance; possession of a firearm on school grounds; possession of drug paraphernalia; trafficking opium; and carrying a concealed weapon.

Joyner was given a $15,000 bond and a trial date of Oct. 30.

I am still astonished at the comments of some of the users on here. I could possible understand some, if the commentator was affected by some connection in way of kinship. Maybe the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case, but I still don't remember seeing your name anywhere in that family tree line. Exactly what was your point of view on this article, I read your post and I saw no evidence of anything remotely commentary on this particular story. I did see the mention of junkyard lane... which I didn't read in this story so again what was your point of view?

A 16 year old in trouble and this time he's not from Junkyard Lane and he's not a Jackson. Squeaked by this time, justin and candy.
