On Nov. 2 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. artists from the ages of 5 through 19 are invited to enter their art to be shown off and judged at the Victor Small house.
The work will be on display at from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6 — an “Open House” date at the Small House will be on Nov. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. The art show is being sponsored by the Sampson County 4-H Club, as well as the Sampson Arts Council.
Officials of the show say that any form of art is acceptable, from paintings to carvings, sculptures to wood work, it doesn’t matter bring it down and it will be viewed by many and judged by few. There will be ribbons awarded for first, second and third places for the artists with the most exceptional pieces of work.
Last year’s show was a hit, according to organizers, with an above-average attendance that stopped by to see the diverse art work, which is what the group wants this year as well.
To show off your work, simply deliver your art piece to the Small House with your name, address, telephone number, age and category on Nov. 2 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
