Lady Leopards finish 5th after defeating HCA

The lady Leopards finished in fifth place in the Nathan Gay Holiday Classic after defeating Harrells in a close game. The final score was 47-35.

Scores were called in after deadline Wednesday night.

Leaders for Lakewood were Nikki Devincentis with 16 points; Tasha Rich with 10 points; Teisha Rich with 8 points; Devony Hemmingway with 5 points; and Brittany Boykin with 6 points.

I certainly wish we would get more coverage of the Lakewood Lady Leopards. They always seem to be relegated to a line or two if they are covered at all. They have an awesome basketball team this year and deserve more and better coverage.
