After taking an 18-12 halftime lead, the lady Raiders would once again outscore the ‘Dogs in the third quarter for a 26-16 advance entering into the final quarter.
The ‘Dogs would rally with their fangs out in the final minutes of action; however, Midway’s early lead kept them on top for the six point finish.
Leading Midway was Morgan Warren with 7 points; Madison Wulf with 7 points; Jennifer Blackmon with 6 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists; Amber Peterson with 6 rebounds; and Kasey Wrench with 4 points and 4 assists.
Midway is currently 9-9 on the season and 3-6 in the Tri-County Conference.
