High school seniors planning to attend JSCC next fall, as well as current first-year students at James Sprunt Community College should apply now for academic scholarship consideration for next fall’s awards.

Academic scholarships are available to full-time students. These scholarships are provided through the James Sprunt Foundation and are awarded based on the student’s record of high academic achievement.

Applications and information about academic scholarships can be received by calling the James Sprunt Foundation Office at 910-296-2417. An application can also be found on the college’s website at www.jamessprunt.edu. High school seniors may also obtain an application from their high school counselor. The application deadline is March 15, 2010.
