The final score Tuesday was 94-72.
“We need to run the table and get a little help, but I think our chances are good if we continue to play as well as we did tonight,” said head coach Brad Spell.
Spell said the varsity team’s unselfish play allowed them to run their sets properly, break efficiently and score easy baskets.
“It’s great to see every guy get a lot of minutes. We are really proud of our boys’ effort,” Bass concluded.
Terry Farrior and Dominic Quarterman would lead the Dark Horses with 19 points each; followed by Vic Register with 12 points; J.T. Miller contributed 10 points; Jaylon Robertson chipped in another 13 points; Jeston Thompson added 6 to the board; Mike Smith and Unique Paschal both had 4 points; Quentin Hill and Norri Ellis each had 2 points; and Ty-Kevin Boykin had 3 points.
