Despite coming out on top in the first quarter, the lady Wildcats fell to Trask Thursday 52-41.
According to reports from head coach Felicia Autry, the ‘Cats were led in scoring by Annarose Schoonmaker with 18 points; Niesha Lewis chipped in 6 points; Bethany Knight put up 4 points; Brittney Evans contributed 4 points; Taylor Bowden added 1 point; and Bashee Williams had 3 points on the board.
“I would just like to add that Brittney Evans and Bashee Williams came off the bench for us and played very well,” Autry complimented.
After jumping ahead 11-10 after the first quarter, the lady Wildcats would fall behind 27-16 at the half.
Unfortunately, Hobbton was unable to get back into the top post, costing them the game by 11 points.
