Three Clinton teens, already jailed in the Sampson County Detention Center, are facing a laundry list of additional felony charges in connection with two break-ins that took place back in late December and one in early January.
Joshua Earl Andrews, 17, of 419 Lafayette St., Clinton, was charged with two counts of breaking and entering; two counts of larceny after breaking and entering; and two counts of possession of stolen goods after Sampson County sheriff’s investigators linked him to the robbery of a storage building at 220 Rowan Road and a residence on Barts Lane in Clinton. Both incidents took place Dec. 22.
Andrews was also charged in connection with a break-in to a storage building at 84 Hamilton Drive on Jan. 7.
In total, Andrews was given a $55,000 secured bond for the additional felonies.
Justin Ryan Jackson, 16, of 49 Junk Yard Lane, Clinton, was also charged in the incidents. Jackson is believed to have been involved with the storage building break-ins on Rowan Road and another on Hamilton Drive, as well as the Bart’s Lane break-in.
Jackson was charged with three counts of breaking and entering; three counts of larceny after breaking and entering; three counts of possession of stolen goods/property; and felony possession of marijuana. In total, Jackson was given an $80,000 bond.
Donald Keith Lambert, 18, of 3960 Roseboro Highway, Clinton, was also charged in the break-ins at Hamilton Drive, Rowan Road and the residence at Barts Lane.
Lambert was charged with two counts of breaking and entering; two counts of larceny after breaking and entering; and two counts of possession of stolen goods; and one count of breaking and entering; larceny after breaking and entering; and possession of stolen goods/property.
In total, Lambert was given $60,000 in secured bonds.
All three men will have trial dates within the next month for the charges.
