Lady 'Cats capture 4-point win over Wallace-Rose Hill

In a battle of the fittest Friday night, the lady Wildcats would send the Bulldogs of Wallace-Rose Hill packing after sneaking by with a four-point win. The final score was 48-44.

According to reports from head coach Felicia Autry, the Wildcats would find themselves ahead of the Bulldogs 12-9 at the end of the first quarter.

However, Wallace-RH would gnaw their way to a one-point lead at the half. The score was 21-20, Bulldog’s favor.

Following the break, the Wildcats would scratch their way to a three-point rise after securing a 33-30 lead in the third quarter; and the ‘Cats would take the game with a final 15-point push.

Autry reported that Niesha Lewis would lead Hobbton with 12 points; Annarose Schoonmaker would contribute 11 points; Brittney Evans would come off the bench with 9 points; Bethany Knight added 8 points; Amber Bass chipped in 4 points; and both Casey Hobbs and Bashee Williams put up 2 points.
