“I thought we worked the ball around nicely,” said Sampson’s coach Dr. Gib Palmer.
Sampson’s goals came off Caitlin Horn with two; Caroline Barwick with two; Hannah Smith with one; Tori Tyndall with two; Erica Zeng with two; and Darby Taylor, Liz Sumner and Cara Marshburn each with one goal.
“We had a great shutout; I was proud of my defense for shutting them out — Sumner, Marshburn, Barwick and Grace Reagan,” listed Palmer, adding the Dark Horse goalies Donya Ramos and Victoria Devane as a team help.
