I hope your gardens are now flourishing in this springy April month. I know they are lovely, but I hope you took some of the tips from the past few weeks and turned your lawn into an environmentally friendly beautiful place. Like you know I must tell you every week, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. These words apply in every situation. Whether you are cleaning your lawn, heating your house, or taking a shower, it is always important to use the fewest amount of resources possible.

This week I want to talk about the new green culture. I know that it has become a fad, and although this can bring a lot of the driving force there are still the people that resist because of it. That’s OK because I’m sure you guys are doing very well with your habits! Stay on this bandwagon! I don’t know if you have heard, but there are a lot of slogans that go along with the green campaign. I usually tell you to “Go Green” and “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” at least once a week. Those are of course some of the more popular ones. Another phrase to keep your eye out for is “Don’t be mean, Go Green.” Not only is it functional, but it also is catchy and fun to say. When you see sayings like these around, let them help to remind you to stay environmentally friendly.

I love hearing and saying mottos and phrases so things like the ones that I have mentioned are a lot of fun for me. I wanted to make you aware of these so they can help keep you on all the new years resolutions that we talked about at the beginning of the year. In short, notice the sayings, remember the 3 R’s and Go Green!
