Currently ranked second in the East Central Conference, the lady Dark Horses held their position Friday with a 4-0 shutout over Northside.
“We were a little flat to start, but we straightened everything out towards the end,” admitted head coach Jeff Smith following the soccer action.
Catherine Coleman earned another hat trick Friday and Sarah Murphy knocked in the fourth goal.
Late game
On Tuesday night, the Dark Horses trounced Topsail in double overtime after Halee Smith drilled the winning goal with 3 minutes to spare.
