The lady Dark Horses will enter into the final game of East Central Conference season Friday with a 15-5-1 record after subduing South Lenior Tuesday 10-0.

“We just kind of used it as a warm-up for our game Friday against Swansboro,” Clinton’s head soccer coach, Jeff Smith, said following the win.

Catherine Coleman earned a hat trick with three goals; Summer Duffy had one goal; Catherine Kersey had one; Lexi Valenti scored one; Camille Carr scored; Emily Green scored; and Jamison Kidd knocked in a shot.

After Friday’s action with Swansboro, the Dark Horses will have a better idea as to where they stand entering into the playoffs, which kick off a week from today.
