Harrells teenager linked to Garland area break-in

A 16-year-old Harrells resident has been arrested and charged in connection with a breaking and entering that took place on May 28.

Terrance Kerr, 16, of 2195 Harrells Hwy., Harrells, was charged with breaking and entering; larceny after breaking and entering; and possession of stolen goods late Friday afternoon.

Kerr was linked to the May 28 breaking and entering that took place at 55 Golden Lane, Garland.

According to reports, investigators responded to the residence around 9:30 a.m. and found that the door had been kicked in and $842 worth of electronics were taken from the property. Through investigation, law enforcement officals linked Kerr to the crime.

He was taken into custody Friday afternoon and given a $5,000 secured bond and a trial date of June 4.
