Investigators with the Clinton Police Department are searching for an unknown gunman who walked into the Clinton Business Center, 409-B Warsaw Road, Tuesday night around 11:15 p.m., pulled a weapon and walked out with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to reports, a 39-year-old woman was assisting regular customers at the business, and as the three walked out, a man described as a “very thin” black male came inside the door before it closed.

The unknown man was wearing a black shirt pulled over his head with only his eyes visible and a white tank T-shirt, blue jeans and a red belt, reports show. He pointed a small black handgun at the woman and demanded money.

The woman threw the register’s cash drawer in front of the man, who then picked the cash out and took off running.

Other than being shaken up, no injuries were reported to the woman.

The man was described as thin and around 5 feet 8 inches tall.

The same business, reports show, was robbed back in March.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in bringing the thief to justice. To contact the Clinton Police Department, call 910-592-3105 or the department’s anonymous tip line at 910-590-3009.

"The unknown man was wearing a black shirt pulled over his head with only his eyes visible".

I wonder what gave this guy away that he wasn't there for a social call. I bet he looked like one of the kids from Fat Albert.
