On Tuesday of this week, it was discovered that authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department had actually issued two separate warrants for the man’s arrest, both related to sex offenses with a child under 14 years old. The one warrant came with no bond attached; the other had a bond totaling $1 million.

The suspect was picked up a second time at his Rose Hill residence Tuesday around noon and placed under a $50,000 secured bond. He is currently in the Sampson County Detention Center awaiting extradition.

According to California Registered Sex Offenders, Herring has been charged with three counts of lewd or lascivious acts with children under 14 years of age and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections, Herring has no previous convictions in this state.
