The Garland town board decided to go forward with fixing some pot holes that have been plaguing the town’s walking trail.

Town clerk Teresa Vaught stated that the commissioners questioned who was, in fact, responsible for fixing them since it is also part of the county’s Recreation Department.

After some discussion, the board came to the conclusion that the trail originally was built by the town, not the county, and it should be fixed by the town.

Right now, Vaught said a dirt mixture is being purchased to fill in the spots, and the holes should be repaired soon.

I thought the town of Garland would have more concern over their "pot" problem than their "potholes".
