Arrests

• 8/12 — Virginia Ann Black, 21, of 130 Mandolin Lane, Roseboro, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. Black was given a $2,500 bond and a trial date of Sept. 8.

• 8/12 — Cody Strickland, 20, of 130 Mandolin Lane, Roseboro, was charged with possession of stolen good; possession of drug paraphernalia; and simple possession of marijuana. Strickland was given a $1,500 bond and a trial date of Aug. 20.

• 8/12 — James Wiggins, 35, of 187 Cottonwood Lane, Newton Grove, was charged with two counts of injury to personal property. Wiggins was given a $1,000 bond and a trial date of Sept. 1.

• 8/12 —Jeffrey Chavis, 28, of 579 Bailey Road, Lumberton, was charged with larceny; misdemeanor larceny; and possession of stolen goods/property. Chavis was given a $12,500 bond and a trial date of Aug. 28.

• 8/13 — Victor Caldwell, 51, of 711 Stetson St., Clinton, was charged with resisting, delaying or obstruct. Caldwell was given a $1,500 bond and a trial date of Sept. 14.

Incidents/Investigations

• 8/12 — Luis Perez, of Dunn, reported a breaking and entering and larceny. Reported stolen were three guns valued at over $500; and $500 in change.

• 8/12 — Robert Gary, of Godwin, reported damage to property. Reported damaged were 5 storm windows valued at $1,000; and a wood door valued at $150.

• 8/12 — Delmas Anderson, of Clinton, reported a damage to property. Reported damaged was $500 to an automobile.
