Elizabeth G. Barefoot, 18
ROSEBORO — Miss Elizabeth Gray Barefoot, 18, of 616 McLamb St., died on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, at Clinton Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Bryan Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the Wiley Autry Cemetery in Autryville.
Miss Barefoot was born on Aug. 9, 1994 in Cumberland County and is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Everette L. Barefoot Sr. She worked part-time at Dairy Queen in Clinton and was a youtube sensation known at “beththeamazing.” She was a current student at the Sampson Early College.
She is survived by her mother, Gina Barefoot of the home and fiance`, Howard Smith; her father, Everette Barefoot Jr. and wife, Beth of Dunn; step-sister, Amber Pelkey of Massachusetts; maternal grandmother, “Grammie” Ruby Parker of Dunn; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Barefoot of Autryville; step-grandparents, James and Barbara Cobb of Raleigh; and four Aunts, Wanda Barefoot of Autryville, Sandy Beasley of Coats, Stacie Belcher of Raleigh and Tara Pyrtle of Wilmington.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Clinton Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1901 Sunset Ave., Clinton, and other times at her home.
