The sacred and the secular stand together, a reminder that today is a special ione, meant to be shared with family and friends, and strangers, as well as for reaching out to those with far less than we are blessed to have. Just down from the city market, the lights of the evergreen twinkle, but just above, nearly overshadowing it in its brillance is the steeple of First Baptist Church, 408 College St., a reminder of the faith that lights the way.
