Banner presented at Plain View
Plain View Elementary School was recognized by the Board of Education with a banner for their school. They were named a Honor School of Excellence for 2011-12 and received the recognition of High Growth. An Honor School of Excellence has to meet growth and have above 90 percent of their students proficient. Schools of High Growth went above and beyond what the state expected them to grow. Pictured in photo are Principal Gaynor Hammond, TOY Kimberly Johnson, Board member GH Wilson, Superintendent Dr. Ethan Lenker, Jeana Moore from the central office, along with students from the elementary school.
