NEWTON GROVE — Mr. Martin B. Wilson, 90, of 825 N. Johnson Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at home.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at White Oak Disciples of Christ Church, Newton Grove, with Bishop Charles J. Williams, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Newton Grove.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Wilson; son, Coleman Wilson and grandson, Torrey Wilson.
He is survived by his daughters, Luretha Lewis of Goldsboro, Rachel Hull of Roswell, Ga., Mary Wilson of Enfield, N.C., Emily Wilson, Deana Peaks, and Portia Wilson, all of Durham, and Darlene Wilson of Goldsboro; sons, Conrad Wilson of Enfield, N.C., Steven Wilson of Augusta, Ga. and Porter Wilson of the home; sister, Lillie “Pat” Dickerson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
