The Harrells Christian Academy boys got back in the win column Monday, defeating Arendell Parrott Academy 42-35.
The Crusaders overcame a 5-point first quarter deficit to take the lead, heading into the half ahead 19-17.
Harrells scored another 8 points in the third quarter, holding Arendell to 4, then amassing 15 more in the final frame to secure the win.
Zack Carlton led scoring with 15 points. He also added 4 rebounds, 4 steals and had 2 blocks.
Also contributing to the Crusader win was Josh Driskill, 8 points, 6 rebounds; Chris Cannady, 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block; Patrick Walker, 6 points, Graham DiPinto, 6 points, 5 rebounds; John Wesley Hairr, 1 point; Kelly Nelms, 1 point, 1 rebound; and Dasmine Joyner 1 point, 1 rebound.
The Crusaders move to 3-8 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
