CLINTON — Miss Alice Elizabeth “Miss” Faircloth, 99, of 6251 Bonnetsville Road, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at her home where she was born and raised and spent her entire life.

A home-going celebration will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, at White Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Porter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at her home, 6251 Bonnetsville Road, Clinton. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

“Miss” was born in Clinton, on Sept. 27, 1913 to Troy Lallister and Callie Page Faircloth. She was a long time member of White Oak Baptist Church. She appreciated all things in the yard and fields and enjoyed observing the beauty of nature. She especially enjoyed watching the deer and birds.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews and niece Jane F. Robinson with whom she shared the home place.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy Lallister and Callie Page Faircloth; four sisters; four brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Oak Memorial Fund, 310 White Oak Church Road, Clinton, North Carolina 28328.
