Elizabeth I. Cook

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Elizabeth Ivey Cook, 75, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Ivey; husband, Robert Cook; mother, Annie Lois Ivey; and father, David Robert Ivey.

Left to cherish her memories are children, Barbara Daniels and husband, Ricky, Debbie Baker and husband, Stewart, Donald McLemore and wife, Kay, and Jennifer Bledsole and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Sherry Massey, Melanie Teal, BobbyJo Sanchez, Brandy Jones, Jeffrey Daniels, Eddy Farinas, Tabitha Farinas, Bradley Baker, and Marissa Jados; great-grandchildren, Brandon Massey, Justin Massey, and Fayden Sanchez; companion, Marvin Sykes; brother, David Ivey; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Sapona Road Church of God with the Rev. Tim Gore officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.

She will be laid to rest in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
