The Harrells Christian Academy boys put up a hard fight Monday against Fayetteville Academy but couldn’t muster the win. HCA fell 65-59.

The two teams came back from the break ready to play, and they kept scoring pretty even, with the home team up 45-43 at the end of the period.

Fayetteville was able to put a little distance between themselves and the Crusaders in the final frame to squeeze by for the victory.

Zack Carlton and Graham DiPinto led scoring for Harrells with 16 points each. Also scoring were John Wesley Hairr, 9; Chris Cannady, 7; Dasmine Joyner, 4; Josh Driskill, 4; and Patrick Walker, 3.

They will travel to O’Neal School for a game later today and host Cape Fear Academy on Friday night.
