Judy A. Godwin, 59

DUNN — Mrs. Judy Autry Godwin, 59, of Taylors Chapel Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in Lee’s Chapel Church with the Rev. Kyle Burrows officiating. Burial will follow in Lee’s Chapel/Williford Cemetery.

Mrs. Godwin was born June 23, 1953 in Harnett County the daughter of the late Louis Earl Autry and is preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Autry. Judy attended Dunn High School and was seamstress in the textile industry.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Godwin of the home; mother, Naomi Holt Lee of Smithfield; sons, Chris Godwin of Clinton and Steven Godwin of Plainview; daughter, Kimberly Godwin of Plainview; grandchild, Daniel Godwin; sisters, Shirley Whitman of Smithfield, Ruth Autry of Spring Lake and Bonnie Shifflett of Dunn; brothers, Ray Autry of Benson and Johnny Lee of Erwin; and loving pet dog, Pepper Ann Godwin.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funerals and Cremations in Dunn.
