Union students learns heart health
Union Elementary was joined by Sampson Community College nursing students last week to celebrate Jump Rope for Heart week. SCC nursing students taught the children all they needed to know about the heart and the importance of keeping it healthy. Children learned how to check their pulse and were even taught a little dance in order to learn the effects of exercise on their heart rates. (Courtesy photo)
