Arnold R. Pate

GARLAND — Mr. Arnold Ray Pate, 58, of 2570 NC Hwy. 210 West, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Garland, with the Rev. Richard Smith, the Rev. Chris O’Briant and Mr. Dale Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Pate is survived by his wife, Gail Pate; two daughters, Melanie Hughes of Garland and Marsha Williamson of Bladenboro; mother, Larue Pate of Garland; two sisters Kay Martin of White Lake and Shelia Folk of Elizabethtown; one brother Ralph Pate of White Lake; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
