Over 100 attend Kerr Make-N-Take Math Night
Recently, L.C. Kerr Elementary School hosted a Math Literacy Make-n-Take night for parents and their children in preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. Over 100 people joined in for the Make-n-Take learning event as they learned how Common Core Math Standards can be supported and encouraged at home with hands-on activities. Here, Kerr kindergarten teacher Jan Butler, shares ideas of how math relates to home activities with a multitude of kindergarten students and families. (Courtesy photo)
