Butler Avenue Elementary School will be holding its second annual talent show on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Clinton High School.

Everyone is invited to come out and see second and third grade students showcase their talents.

“Twenty five acts, some individuals and some groups, will perform. There will be a variety of entertainment including singing, dancing, and even a magic act,” said Michelle Gainey, media coordinator at Butler Avenue Elementary.

There will be a $5 admission fee for all attendees with the exception of children 12 years old and younger who will be admitted for $2.

The event is a fundraiser for Butler Avenue Elementary. “The money that is raised will go toward purchasing technology items, like document cameras, for the school,” said Gainey.

Concessions will be available during the show, and according to Gainey, proceeds from the snacks sold are expected to benefit Sampson County’s Relay for Life.
