Which college would be best for me? What’s it like to be a college student? How should I prepare for this important step in my life? How much does college cost? Can I play sports in college? Do I have to take a standardized test?

Do these questions sound familiar? The Greater Raleigh National College Fair can help students and parents find the answers! All high school students should try to attend the region’s largest and most popular event of its kind, which is coming to our area in March. It is the 3rd Annual Greater Raleigh National College Fair held at the Raleigh Convention Center on Tuesday, March 19th from 4:00pm – 8:00pm . At this special event, students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from nearly 200 colleges and universities from across the country. Also, students and parents can attend special workshops on how to search for the best-fit, application tips, essay writing and how to finance a college education. There is no charge to attend this great college fair.

It is a good idea to go the to website in advance and register. There is other helpful information on the site including the times of the workshops. www.gotomyncf.com

Students should check with the school systems College Advisor/ Scholars Coordinator for more information about the event and registering. Toni Blount, Rosemary Simpson, and Bambi Dove are there to help you.
