The Hobbton Wildcat soccer team lost to 3A Southern Wayne, 7-0, Tuesday at Hobbton, the second loss to the visitors in the young soccer season
Wildcat coach Wes Cone said, “It was better than last time. We only lost 7-0. Our defense played well; however, our offense had a hard time breaking their defensive line. It was a tough game.”
The Wildcats play Thursday at Pender.
The soccer teams is 0-2 in non-conference play.
