Fundraising for Brooklyn's Rainbow of Hope
Sweet Frog manager Jerry Powell shows a T-shirt to Stephanie Jordan, who held a fundraiser at the Clinton business from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. During that time, 20 percent of proceeds from sales at Sweet Frog benefited March of Dimes through 'Brooklyn's Rainbow of Hope,' in honor of Jordan's daughter who passed in 2010. Powell said Tuesday that the event enjoyed a good crowd and the business took in $800 total during the three hours, raising $160 toward the cause. 'It was steady just about all night,' said Powell. 'It was a pretty good flow.' (Chris Berendt/Sampson Independent)
