Mozel R. Carr
GARLAND — Mrs. Mozel R. Carr, 76, of 58 N. Belgrade Ave., died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the home of her daughter.
The funeral will be held Thursday, March 21, at 2 p.m. in the St. Peter AME Zion Church, Elizabethtown, with the Rev. Arnold Peterson and the Rev. Dr. A. D. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Carr is survived by daughters, Shirley Burns of Marion, and Angela Carr of Garland; sons, Richard Carr and Roger Carr, both of Columbia, SC; a sister, Daisy Brown of Poughkeepsie, NY; a brother, Alex Caviness, Elizabethtown; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20 from 1 until 7 p.m. at Summerville-Boykin Mortuary, Garland.
