CLINTON — Mr. Oscar L. Bennett Jr., 64, of 412 Ferrell St., died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 at VA Medical Center, Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, with Dr. Onyx Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Sandhill Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 6, at Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home with family present from 6-7 p.m.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Shirley Bennett of Bronx, N.Y.; sons, Elder Oscar L. Bennett, III of Clinton, and Rinardo J. Bennett of Bronx, N.Y., and Mark Sampson Sr.; and five grandchildren.
