CLINTON — Mr. Pelham Simmons Jr., 58, of 1391 Mt. Moriah Church Road, formerly of Far Rockaway, N.Y., died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.

Mr. Simmons was born in 1953 in Sampson County to the late Pelham and Anne Herring Simmons.

Home going service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday Sept. 18, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 4442 Bonnetsville Road, Clinton, with the Rev. Terrence Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Simmons leaves to cherish a daughter, Haryn Simmons of Jamaica, N.Y.; sisters, Sandra Price (Darryl) of Clinton, Doretha Simmons of Far Rockaway, N.Y., Annie Simmons of Syracuse, N.Y., Blonnie Brown of Webster, N.Y., Almarie Chadwick (Roland) of Goldsboro; brother, Godfrey Simmons (Rosie) of Las Vegas Nev.

A pubic viewing will held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.

Family will Receive Friends other times at the home 1391 Mt. Moriah Church Road, Clinton.
