Jeffery Jones, 45

HOPE MILLS — Mr. Jeffery Wayne Jones, 45, of 5324 Old Rail Road Way, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at New Bethel Baptist Church, located at 1165 Mt. Moriah Church Road in Clinton, with Pastor Terry Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jones, born in Cumberland County, was the son of Berline Goodman Jones and the late Tom Willie Jones. He formerly was a plumber in the construction industry.

He is survived by: one daughter, Carolina Brewer and husband Danny of Clinton; mother, Berline Jones of Clinton; brothers, Marvin Jones of Clinton and Glenn Jones and wife Sue of Clinton; grandchildren, Chloe and Camden of Clinton; companion, Laura Pollock of the home; two special boys, James and Justin Pollock of the home; two nieces and a special friend , Sparky.

Visitation with the family will be held 3-4 p.m. the hour prior to the funeral, Tuesday, Sept. 25 at New Bethel Baptist Church and other times at the home of his brother, Glenn, at 9546 N. U.S. 421 Hwy. in Clinton.
