NEWTON GROVE — Mrs. Kaye Jackson Carr, 65, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Corinth Baptist Church, Salemburg, with the Rev. Tommy Honeycutt and the Rev. Tom Fortner officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband, Billy Carr of Newton Grove; daughter, Angel Massengill and Randy McLamb of Erwin; son, Ricky Wallace of Newton Grove; step-son, William Carr of Newton Grove; grandchild, Aaron Massengill; sister, Heidi Jackson of Clinton and Ann Fite and husband Randy of Charlotte; brothers, Jimmy Jackson and wife, Judy of Garner, Latham Jackson and wife, Diana of Huntersville, and Terry Jackson and wife Jackie of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by sons, Robby Wallace and Lee Carr; father, Elvin Jackson; and mother, Virginia Jackson Strickland.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m.
