Roseboro — Mrs. Helen Ramona Lee Blackburn, 84, formerly of Clinton, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 in Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday Oct. 15, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Linda McLymore officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackburn, a native of Sampson County, was the widow of Alton Bryant Blackburn and the daughter of James Lloyd Lee and Lubert Bass Lee. She attended First Baptist Church and had retired from Hamilton Beach. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Lora Blackburn Reis and husband Larry of Roseboro; two grandchildren, Teri Nunley and husband Charles of Wilmington, and Elliott Graham and wife Ashley of Mt. Olive; three great-grandchildren, Grace Casteen, Cain Graham and Caleb Graham; three step grandchildren; and six sisters, Ruby Nunnery, Peggy Hairr, Lucile Franklin, Virginia Howard, Dixie Lee and Ann Robinson.
The family will receive friends Monday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
