ROSE HILL — The Rev. Leroy Thomas Overby, 90, of 2161 Herring Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2012 at his residence.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at Keathern Chapel Baptist Church in Harrells, with the Rev. Harvey C. Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Ga.
Rev. Overby is survived by his wife, Evelyn Tatum Overby; one daughter, Evelyn Edwards of Norfolk, Va.; two sons, Samuel Jones of Atlanta, Ga., Aaron Overby of Tuscon, Ariz.’ and a host of grandchildren.
The public will be received Sunday, Oct. 21, from 1 - 6 p.m. with the family present from 6 - 7 p.m.
