HARRELLS — Ms. Dorothy Helen O’Dell, 76, of 7041 Wildcat Road, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at Southwood Nursing Center in Clinton.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday Nov. 11, at Garland Community Cemetery on Hill Circle Road in Garland with the the Rev. Handy Gunter officiating.

Dorothy was born June 10, 1936 in Putnam County, N.Y. to the late Walter O’Dell and Mary Ann Wooten. She was a C.N.A. Her hobbies included spending time with her loving family, shopping, playing bingo, cooking and her love for dogs. She was proceeded in death by daughter, Judy E. Barnes, son, Ricky O’Dell, two sisters, Mary Travis and Ruth Poulis, and brother Walter O’Dell Jr.

She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Herring and Lisa O’Dell of Harrells, Maureen O’Dell of Kenansville and Darlene O’Dell of New York; five sons, Roger O’Dell of New York, Justin O’Dell of Kenansville, Stephen O’Dell, Randy O’Dell and Timmy O’Dell all of Harrells; and stepson, Robert White of Harrells; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Public walk through will be held Saturday Nov. 10, from 1-5 p.m. with family present from 5-6 p.m. at Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation, 1275 Hobbton Hwy., and other times at the home of her daughter Sandra Herring, 50 Bills Lane, Harrells.

The O’Dell family have entrusted services to Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation of Clinton.
