ROSEBORO — Mrs. Pauline Melvin Crumpler, 95, of 600 S.W. Railroad St., died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville.

The home going service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7 at Holy Tabernacle United Holy Church, Roseboro, with pastor Christopher Brown Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.

Mrs. Crumpler was born May 12, 1917 to the late Jules and Katie Melvin in Roseboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, William James Crumpler; one granddaughter, Beverly Diane; three sisters, Opie, Eva and Annie; and one brother, Jules.

She retired form Denny Plywood.

She is survived by one daughter, Katie Freeman of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, LaVerne Crumpler Johnson of New York, N.Y.; one great-granddaughter, Simone Parker-Russell of Houston,Texas; great-grandson,Mario Parker; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6 at Butler & Son Funeral Home, Roseboro.
