VASS — Mr. James (Jimmy) W. Mills Jr, 61, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 7, at Johnson Grove Cemetery with military honors with pastor John Brown officiating.
Mr. Mills was born in a log cabin in Siler City, on March 2, 1951 to James William and Lue Eastridge Mills Sr.
Visitation was held at Cox Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 6 until 8 p.m. and other times at the daughter home, 1390 Ring Road, Vass.
