RIEGELWOOD — Pastor Wayne Dwight Lewis, 47, of 15 Crown Point Drive, formerly of Faison, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 in Wilmington. Born in Sampson County, he is the son of the late Robert Lee and Sarah Darden Lewis.

A homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at The New Church of Christ with Apostle Blonny Aycock officiaing. Burial will follow in Cobbs Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evangelist Teresa Lewis of the home; four children, Sterling Lewis, Latonya S. Williams, Jawanna Gains and Tashanna Boone of Clinton; four grandchildren; two brothers, Robert L. Lewis Jr. of Summerville, S.C. and Thomas E. Lewis of Faison; and three sisters, Tessie Waymon and Apostle Blonny Aycock, both of Faison, and Patricia Jones of Warsaw.

The family will assemble at 10 a.m. at 10106 Faison Hwy., Faison, in preparation of the funeral procession.
