TURKEY — Rev. Shirley Morrisey, 91, of 4730 Old Warsaw Road, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
The funeralwill be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at Greater Six Runs Missionary Baptist Church, Turkey with Rev. Leslie Morrisey officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton.
The visitation will be held Friday, March 1, at Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home, Clinton from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Rev. Morrisey is survived by her daughters, Shirley Smith of Clinton, NC, Lizzie Mike of Bronx, NY, Rev. Diane Newkirk and Louise Vann both of Turkey, NC, Carolyn Miller of Denver, CO; sons, David Smith of Fayetteville, NC, John Morrisey of Faison, NC, and Arthur Morrisey of Turkey, NC; sisters, Mary Faison of Clinton, NC, Katie Powell of Turkey, NC; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 7 great-great granchildren.
