Tula Satterfield, from Emerald Isle, visited the Clinton Garden Club (CGC) and gave a brief overview of her responsibilities as the Garden Club of North Carolina District 11 director. She then delivered a PowerPoint presentation about her and her husband’s joint hobby, bird photography. Her extensive knowledge of North Carolina birds in particular inspired the CGC members to create a bird-friendly habitat in their own gardens. The following day, club members met a delivery truck with their pansy order. This fundraiser helps to support their garden projects around Clinton as well as a scholarship for a well-deserving college student pursuing a degree in horticulture.
