‘Rise Up — Rejuvenate’ on Sunday

Tim’s Gift 2024 “Rise Up — Rejuvenate” annual event will be held at Hubb’s Farm this Sunday, May 19.

Flyers have been emailed to local churches and information about Rise Up can be found on Tim’s Gift website, Facebook posts, weekly emails, calls to Tim’s Gift, and 6:30 a.m. morning messages, live on Facebook. We hope you will join us from 3-6 p.m. on May 19 at Hubbs Farm on Hwy. 421 for an afternoon of Christian fellowship and fun.

Free admission, food trucks for you to purchase food and drinks, play time at the farm, Clinton Community Praise Band and Tiger Cheerleaders and the New Bethel Quartet will all be on hand. There will be testimonies, Good Samaritan and Outstanding Youth Group awards, a gathering at the fire pit for praise, prayer, repentance, and reaching out to our Heavenly Father, family, and friends.

There are bleachers and picnic tables. We encourage bringing lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the grass and enjoy a spectacular Sunday afternoon! Thank you for supporting and praying for Tim’s Gift … a local footprint of God’s Grace!

We, at Tim’s Gift, take seriously the charge to honor God and share love while ‘giving help and hope to His children in need’! The space inside Tim’s Gift may be small but there is quite enough love for everyone who comes to receive and to give. What a joy to witness those being prayed over truly experiencing God’s presence, breaking of chains, and sweet peace flowing from head to toe! Tag team praying brings blessed assurance that prayer changes things when we trust God, seek Jesus, listen for guidance from the Holy Spirit, and in sheer, sweet faith … just believe and let go!

Tag team praying and ministering stirred within my heart in 2023 after watching two powerful movies, Jesus Revolution at Clinton Community Church and Sound of Freedom at our local theater. After watching Sound of Freedom, Lisa, Edith, and I sat on the tailgate of my pick up truck in the parking lot for two hours talking about the falling away from Jesus in America. Our heartfelt conversations touched on sadness as America sinks in sin, horror to see hatred and war within, grief as God is mocked and left out, frustration as lawlessness reigns while love and respect for God and one another wanes! We face loss of liberty, Godly living, dignity, and freedom across our land with fear and complacency taking the upper hand. Can we do like

David did and boldly take a stand ? Without God – no we can’t! With God — yes we can!

If the young shepherd boy had cowered in fear, the evil giant would have won. With no time to whine, whimper, or wonder…’what shall I do’? David trusted God for victory and the stones in his slingshot the faithful young shepherd – THREW. God was with David who faced the giant and won! If we had been facing that giant, what would you or I have done? As we face evil giants seeking to destroy God’s Word, Jesus’ way, Holy Spirit guidance, goodness in our land,

Christians rising up to take a stand, faith and hope in me and you – the burning question is: “when facing the evil giants, what will we do”?

The Trojan Horse is in our land, Satan taunts and terrorizes — thinking he has the upper hand. Evil giants plunder and predict they will rule with fear across our land! Yet, when we know our Maker, the Master of the sea, our Creator, The Vine, Good Shepherd, heavenly Father who wins in the end… we praise God for His divine plan!

What a difference we can make in our world when we try, trust God, and believe that we can.

Let us R.U.N. — Rise Up Now, reach out and help someone who needs to embrace God’s plan. Encourage and pray with them. Share God’s Word. Tell them stories about Jesus and His love. Teach them to sing in perfect harmony and keep their eyes focused on Thee!
