A new county manager will take the helm in Sampson County, for the time being, as the board of commissioners continue their search for a permanent manager.
In an unanimous vote Tuesday night, Jeffrey Hudson, a retired county manager from Onslow County, was named full time interim manager, beginning Jan. 21, 2025.
