William Brisson, who has served District 22 in the NC House of Representatives for the past 20 years, announced on Monday that he intends to retire at the conclusion of his current term in December 2026.
“Serving the people of District 22 has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Rep. Brisson stated in a press release. “This is where I grew up, where my family put down roots, and where neighbors still look out for one another. Every day in Raleigh, I tried to carry the voices and values of our small towns, farms, and communities with me.”
